High Lake Level / Flooding Update
The County Judge will be issuing a disaster declaration on the flooding at Lake Cypress Springs. This will allow residents with damage to apply for State disaster relief.
Information on eligibility requirements and how to apply will be included in a followup email when the declaration is issued.
The lake and all the parks, except for Walleye and Guthrie Park, are open. Lake Patrol is continuing to work to reunite lost property with owners. If you have not reported either lost or found property, you can contact the District to do so at fcwd@fcwd.com or 903.537.4536
On that note, if you have not installed your boat house identification number tag this would be a good time to do so as it really helps the Lake Patrol to find locations to return missing property.
