Franklin County Water District is currently seeking a Camp Host Volunteer to assist visitors to the District’s parks and campgrounds. The Camp Host will meet and greet the public, handle inquiries and staff the Entrance Stations. Additional responsibilities include completing paperwork, collecting entrance fees and general cleaning and maintenance of the campgrounds.
While the position is unpaid, a designated campsite will be provided to the Camp Host(s) free of charge.
Ideal candidates will be organized and have a friendly, customer service focus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital. Computer proficiency and knowledge of the District’s policies, procedures, rules and regulations are also requirements. Couples are welcome to apply.

The Franklin County Water District is a conservation and reclamation district created by a special act of the legislature in 1965. The duty of the district is to control, store, preserve and distribute its waters and flood waters for all useful purposes.
